Romania’s interim president, Ilie Bolojan, emphasized the need for faster judicial procedures during the review of the High Court of Cassation and Justice.
On Monday, the High Court of Cassation and Justice presented its 2024 activity report, with interim president Ilie Bolojan attending the event.
In his speech, Bolojan highlighted the importance of speeding up judicial procedures and pointed to digitization as a tool to reduce bureaucracy. He also stressed that integrity and meritocracy should be fundamental values within the judiciary. Additionally, Bolojan encouraged magistrates to speak openly without fear of consequences.
