The IMF delegation will hold talks with Prime Minister Emil Boc and several other Cabinet members, people familiar with the matter told MEDIAFAX.
Romania and the IMF signed last year a EUR13 billion loan agreement, as part of a larger EUR20 billion aid package which includes funds from the EU, the World Bank and other foreign lenders.
Last week, Romanian President Traian Basescu said the Government should use the October meeting to analyze the possibility of signing a new agreement with the IMF.
