New orders in the capital goods sector rose 33% in September from a month earlier, while orders in the intermediate and consumer goods sectors were up 24.4 % and 9.7% on the month respectively.
In the durable goods sector, new orders rose 6.3% on the month, the statistics data showed.
On an annual basis, Romanian industrial orders rose 29.9% in September, fueled by increases in all sectors.
Orders in the intermediate goods sector were up 35% on the year, while new orders in the capital and durable goods industries rose 34.3% and 14.4% respectively. In the consumer goods sector, new orders increased 2.1% from September 2009.
In January to September, industrial new orders were up 26% compared with the same period of 2009, again boosted by higher orders in all sectors.
