The minister will sign a protocol with the city’s administration within one month and financing will come 98% from the Ministry of Communication with the remaining 2% of financing coming from the city.
"We have given the green light to a national program called e-Romania.(…) This portal will contain all communes and cities in Romania, with everything that means history, geography, administrative unit, culture, church and everything business," the minister said.
Sandu said this “digitalization” is in compliance with the European Service Directive and Romania needs to apply it by the end of the year.
