Romania’s Transport Ministry on Tuesday awarded three contracts, for EUR427.5 million, for the construction of the last sections of the Orastie-Sibiu highway segment. In May, the Ministry signed contracts for sections of the Timisoara-Lugoj, Nadlac-Arad and Lugoj-Deva highway segments. All of these sections are on Corridor IV, which starts at Nuremberg and continues through Prague, Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest and Bucharest towards Istanbul.
