Otopeni Airport announces measures against coronavirus: Disinfection of passenger flows
In order to counter the spread of the infection with the new coronavirus (2019-nCov), a joint action plan has been developed at „Henri Coandã” Airport along with the Health Ministry, the Public Health Directorate and the Border Police General Inspectorate, the airport representatives have announced.
„This plan of measures includes the distribution of informative materials, completion by the passengers coming from China of questionnaires, the way of treating these passengers by the medical teams, as well as a number of other specific measures, among them disinfection, every four hours, of the flows of passengers”, the source has been quoted as saying.
In addition, on the international arrivals flows, hand disinfection gel devices were installed, with their number to be increased in the coming days.
The move comes after WHO announced that the virus in Chinese city Wuhan is a global emergency, as the epidemic spreads outside China.
On the other hand, the Health Ministry maintains the measures applied so far against the coronavirus, not being taken some additional ones, even though WHO has announced that the virus represents a global emergency, has said, for MEDIAFAX, Nelu Tatar, secretary of State in the Health Ministry.
