Italian Car Model Lancia Delta To Enter Romania In November

"The car could be officially launched in Romania at the end of October, but it is highly likely we will begin selling the model early November. We will announce the price and the outfitting options upon launch," AutoItalia officials told MEDIAFAX.

In the first seven months of the year, 23 Lancia cars were delivered to Romania, while in the similar interval of the previous year, 16 Lancias had been sold.

The sales registered by AutoItalia Group, importer of Fiat, Fiat LCV, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Maserati and SsangYong, grew last year by 56.3%, to 16,338 units, from 10,452 cars in 2006.

For this year, AutoItalia Group set a sales target of some 20,000 units, over 20% higher than in 2007.
