Owner Offers $100,000 Reward To Recover Gold Jewelry Stolen From Car In Romania Tuesday
„The victim is offering a $100,000 reward for information that would lead to identifying the robbers and recovering the stolen jewelry,” said Marius Vasile, the store owner’s lawyer.
A car was held up Tuesday morning on the Bucharest-Pitesti highway in southern Romania by three masked individuals, who took, at gunpoint, 22.7 kilos of jewels and the car keys, then drove off toward Pitesti, the Police said.
The jewels, belonging to Diamanti Veri, a Bucharest-based company owned by a Turkish citizen, are worth EUR650,000. The jewelry was not insured, people close to the investigation said.
