Italian and Romanian authorities should cooperate to identify and apprehend felons, Frattini said in a press conference, cited by Italian daily Il Tempo.
He said honest, law-abiding Romanians are welcomed in Italy, but Romanian perpetrators should be given “the same zero tolerance they receive in their home country,” the paper reported.
“There is more tolerance for crimes here (in Italy – e.n.) than in Romania,” Frattini added.
