Romania’s 1H Residential Building Permits Up 12.9% On Yr

On the month, the number of residential building permits was down 2.4% in June.

In June, Romania issued 6,137 residential building permits, up 6% compared to June 2007.

Permits issued in rural areas in June accounted for 59.9% of the total, continuing trends in recent months.

In 2007, Romania issued 56,618 building permits for residential projects, up 11% from 2006.
