Romania’s Nov Net Salary Up 2.6% M-M To RON1.361

The net salary increase in November was due to bonuses, higher production, and salary negotiations, an INS press release said.

The gross average salary was at RON1.844 in November, 2.7% higher than in the previous month.

Employees in the airway transport sector saw the biggest average net salaries of RON3.373, while the clothes production personnel was at the opposite pole with RON768.

November net average salary in agriculture was up 3.2% on the month to RON960.

The employees in the energy sector saw a 5.6% salary increase on the month in November, to RON2.022.

Net salaries in industry averaged RON1.224 in November, down 0.1% from October salary.

The average net salary in Romania rose 21.4% on year in November.
