The president has said he knows how important it is for everyone to meet, on Easter, with family and friends, but, in the current context, it is more important for Romanians to stay home.

"We know that on Easter we meet with friends, family, we go out. This time it is not possible. It is very, very important to observe the rules imposed by the authorities, even now, of the Holy Holidays. Because if we get rid of this epidemic now, I can tell you that it could be very serious and very serious for many people. So, dear Romanians, please continue to follow the lockdown instructions of the authorities, so as we can reach as quickly as we can in the phase where we can discuss, too, relaxation measures", said president Klaus Iohannis.
