Romanian Labor Min Asks Senate To Analyze His Activity

Romanian labor minister Paul Pacuraru, who is also a senator, sent a letter to the president of the Senate requesting “the initiation of the procedure authorizing the analysis of the existence of criminal deeds in his activity," which would justify criminal investigation against him.

Romanian president Traian Basescu wrote, on November 29, to Prime Minister Calin Popescu Tariceanu, asking him to dismiss labor minister Paul Pacuraru and justice minister Tudor Chiuariu.
