Lazio Eyes Dinamo Bucharest Keeper Lobont - Paper

Lazio Roma voiced interest in transferring Romanian goalkeeper Bogdan Lobont from FC Dinamo Bucharest, Italian news agency Calciomercato quoted Corriere dello Sport as saying on Tuesday.

“Lazio is in search of a keeper, and the officials consider Bogdan Lobont and Livorno’s Marco Amelia,” the Italian agency said.

Last week, Lobont told reporters he has no intention of leaving Dinamo: “I will not leave Dinamo. I said it before, there is nothing more to say.”

Lobont, 29, also played for Romanian clubs Corvinul Hunedoara and Rapid Bucharest, and for Ajax in Amsterdam and Italy’s Fiorentina.
