The motion, which criticizes the Government for its failure to solve problems regarding recreational drugs, was debated Monday and was put to the vote Tuesday.

Interior Minister Traian Igas said during debates that, following the measures implemented by authorities, 350 of the 373 stores which sold psychoactive products in 2010 have been closed down.

He pointed out that, in the February-June 2011 interval, 16,200 packets containing psychoactive substances were confiscated.
