Libra Internet Bank Posts Record Profit Of RON32.5M In 2016

“2016 was another consecutive year of strong and balanced growth for Libra Internet Bank. Last year, we met all our ambitious targets, we got a record profit and we continued to launch innovating products for the first time on the Romanian banking market,” said Emil Bituleanu, general manager of Libra Internet Bank.

Lending stood at RON2.09 billion, while NPL ratio fell to 3%, below the market average.

Libra Internet Bank currently has 49 units serving mostly clients on the segments of liberal professionals, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), corporate and agribusiness. The lender has a 0.86% market share on the local banking market.
