U.S. rock band Linkin Park is set for a concert in Bucharest this summer, organizers Music Management told MEDIAFAX Tuesday.
Linkin Park To Play Bucharest This Summer
Organizers said a contract has been signed with the band, but the date, location and ticket prices have yet to be set.
Founded in 1996 in California, Linkin Park has sold over 50 million albums worldwide and won two Grammy Awards.
Linkin Park went mainstream with their debut album, Hybrid Theory, and topped the Billboard album charts in 2003 with their second album, Meteora, which was followed by extensive world touring.
Recognized for their adaptation of the nu metal genre into a radio-friendly yet densely-layered style, the band moved away from this and explored a variety of other genres in their latest studio album, Minutes to Midnight.
