"The special edition is few months away and will have a new music system, fresh upholstery and enhanced interiors. It will target top-end customers (…) and the new feature-loaded model will further re-establish the brand," said Mahindra-Renault’s manager Rajesh Jejurikar.
 
The Logan was launched in India by Mahindra Renault last May.
 
The car is pitted against popular sedans like the Honda City, Ford Fiesta, Maruti Suzuki SX4 and the Indigo range from Tata Motors.
 
The launch of Maruti’s Dzire has spoilt the sales of Logan this year.
 
Tagged as the widest car in the market, the company had sold 1,531 cars in May down from 2,551 cars sold last year.
