Romanian Ctrl Bank Lombard Lending At RON1.86B In May

It was the first month this year when banks used the Lombard facility. The Lombard rate in May was 10.25%.

Through the deposit facility, the central bank attracted RON1.65 billion from lenders in May, a sizeable decrease from RON80.06 billion parked in overnight deposits a month earlier.

Last year, Romanian lenders borrowed RON154.24 billion through the Lombard facility and deposited RON56 billion using the overnight facility.
