Lucky Player Wins Romanian Lottery Record Jackpot

The jackpot in the Romanian 6/49 Lottery, reaching some EUR12.45 million, the greatest sum in the history of the Romanian Lottery, went to someone who played in Bucharest.

The six numbers drawn Sunday were: 36, 6, 47, 24, 20 and 2.

In category II (five out of six numbers picked correctly) there were 139 winners, who will receive RON19,252 each, while for category III (four out of six) there were 7,200 winners, gaining RON557 each.

The jackpot had been won previously on August 26. At that time, the prize was EUR10.45 million, and it was an all-time high at the time.
