French Carmaker Citroen To Launch New Berlingo In Romania In June

French carmaker Citroen will launch its new Berlingo in Romania, in the second half of June, the company’s officials said Wednesday.

The new Berlingo is available either as a slab-sided light commercial vehicle or as a passenger vehicle and prices will be made public just before its launch.
 
The new Berlingo passenger vehicle can be equipped with up to six airbags, as the driver and passenger side airbags are included as standard equipment.
The car can also be equipped, at request, with ESP system (electronic stability program) coupled to ASR system (acceleration slip regulation), cruise control system, which maintains a constant speed, as well as parking sensors.
 
Citroen targets to sell 6,000-6,500 units in Romania this year .
 
In 2007, 5,000 Citroen cars were delivered to Romania.
