Romania Average Net Salary Grows 0.4% on Month in February

In real terms, the average net salary in Romania grew 0.1% on the month in February.

The gross average salary stood at RON5,243 in February, 0.3% higher than in January.

The best paid employees in February were in the IT&C sector, making a net average of RON7,488 a month, while the lowest paid employees were in the hospitality industry, with an average RON1,781 a month.

Compared with February 2019, the average net monthly wage in Romania grew 9.2% in nominal terms and 6% in real terms.
