Romanian Parliament Validates Senate Chairman For Court Of Accounts Presidency

Lawmakers validated 305 to two votes the nominations for council members validated earlier Tuesday by the budget-finance commission in Parliament.

Liberal Doina Dascalu was elected vice-president of the Court of Accounts.

Lawmakers validated social democrat Vorniceanu Marius for a six-year mandate, social democrat Anton Ioan for three years, social democrat Neicutescu Gheorghe for three years, social democrat Donovici Constanţa Anca for six years, social democrat Oana Gheorghe for nine years, liberal Popa Aron for nine years, liberal Stoina Cristian Nicolae for three years, liberal Sandu Capra Mihai for three years, democrat liberal Alamaie Dumitru for six years, democrat liberal Popescu Mircea Vasile for six years, democrat liberal Paghină Domnica for three years, Greater Romania Party member Popeanga Petre for three years, Greater Romania Party member Verginia Vedinas for nine years, Greater Romania Party member Sabina Marioara Funar for six years, hungaruian minority party member Pete Stefan for nine years and conservative Hura Mihai for six years.
