He added the country’s first quarter economic growth of 8.2% is a sign of overheating.

Earlier Wednesday, Romania’s statistical institute said the net average salary was up 7.6% on the month to 1.282 lei (EUR1-RON 3.6215) in real terms in April.

The average net salary in Romania rose 24.8% on year in April.
