Moby Returns To Romania For Gig At B'estfest
Moby, whose real name is Richard Melville, started playing music when he was nine years old, and by 13 he already had his own punk rock band, "Vatican Comandoes".
Although his musical career went through rock, punk and heavy metal to dance and techno, Moby first made a name for himself as a DJ. His first single, "Go", was launched in 1991 and was included by Rolling Stone magazine among the best songs of all times.
Moby sold more than 20 million records worldwide, collaborated with numerous other artists, such as Sophie Elis Bextor, Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani and Kelis, and remixed songs of starts like David Bowie, Metallica, The Beastie Boys and Public Enemy.
Eight of Moby’s studio albums went gold and even platinum. This year, the artist will headline the Romanian B'estfest festival, 13 years after his first visit to Romania.
Other confirmed headliners for the festival are The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Motorhead, and Manowar.
