Predoiu mentioned Morar will be proposed either for the position of High Official of Romania’s justice ministry in Brussels – a position yet to be created -, or for deputy president of DNA.

Monica Serbanescu worked as adviser to Romania’s former prosecutor general Ilie Botos.

Serbanescu’s nomination awaits final approval from Romanian President Traian Basescu.

In the meantime, prosecutor general Codruta Kovesi on Monday delegated Daniel Morar to act as head of the anticorruption department for another 90 days.
