The draft bill was filed by opposition party PMP and was adopted by default on Wednesday, as its deadline for debate and adoption was set for December 26, 2018.

The project also abolishes special pension rights for Court of Accounts, National Criminal Expertize Institute and civil aviation personnel.

Under the bill, some of the funds received from the cuts would be used to grant additional benefits for military veterans, disabled veterans and war widows.
