N Romania Student To Attend Gaming Olympics
A 21 year-old student from Romania’s northern county of Bistrita, will represent Romania in the largest European video games competition- The Samsung Euro Championship, to take place in Hanover (Lower Saxony) between March 6 and March 9.

The young man, Mihai Dragan, Tuesday told a press conference that he qualified for the finals, following the national championship that took place in Bucharest, early February.
Dragan plays the FIFA 2008 game, one of the seven games included in the European championship. The other six games are Counter Strike, War Craft III, Command & Conquer for Speed, Dead or Alive 4, Project Gotham Racing 4.
FIFA 2008 is one of the most popular video games in the world, played by millions of computer lovers.
Like last year, the tournament will be held at the world’s largest trade fair for digital solutions, CeBIT, in the Hannover Exhibition Center.
Together with the finals of the Extreme Masters II, the Samsung Euro Championship will be the second Warcraft 3 tournament held at CeBIT.
During last year’s edition Gravitas.HoT took the first price after a 2:1 victory over mouz.ToD in the Grand Finals.
