Romanian Ctrl Bk Revises Dn ’09, ’10 Inflation Forecasts

Romanian central bank revised downwards its projection on the annual inflation rate at the end of 2009 to 4.4%, from 4.5% it estimated in February.

The central bank also reduced its forecast on 2010 inflation to 2.8% at year-end, from previously seen 3.2%.

The annual inflation rate was 6.3% at the end of 2008, down compared to 6.57% in December 2007.
