People close to talks at the Cabinet meeting Wednesday said the final form of the bill will be negotiated with the International Monetary Fund the following days, and the Government is to adopt it in a special meeting Monday and immediately send it to Parliament to start confidence vote adoption procedures.

The sources said Prime Minister Emil Boc gave the ruling coalition’s MPs a number of options for the unitary wage law, including setting the minimum wage to 670 lei (EUR1=RON4.2950).

According to the sources, Boc said all salaries in the public sector would be increased by as much as 15% in 2011 and asked for a form of support for people with incomes below RON1,000.
