Romanian news agency MEDIAFAX has, starting with November 7, a new business director, Calin Buzea, who, together with general manager Cristian Dimitriu, will coordinate the company’s business activities.

"We want MEDIAFAX to consolidate its position as innovating leader in the supply of general and business information in Romania and, due to this, in the following period, we will focus our activity on a series of development projects," said Buzea.
Calin Buzea joined the MEDIAFAX team in March 2006, as New Media brand manager, and in February 2007 he was marketing director within the company.

Also starting Wednesday, the MEDIAFAX newsroom will be run by two editors-in-chief, Dana Curcea – who will coordinate the Mass-Media News editorial team and Cristian Popa – who will run the Business News team.

Dana Curcea has been with MEDIAFAX since April 1993, while Cristian Popa has been with MEDIAFAX since 1994.
