Romanian Carmaker Dacia Made 300,000 Logan MCVs In 4 Yrs

Romanian carmaker Dacia has produced 300,000 Logan MCV station wagons since the model’s 2006 launch, as the high sales figures achieved on external markets warranted increased production numbers, says a press release issued Tuesday by the company.

The Logan MCV was restyled in October 2008, and now comes in four different technical specification versions, namely the Ambiance, the Preference, the Laureate and the Prestige. All versions are available both as five-seaters and as seven-seaters.

The station wagon is Dacia’s third top-selling car on the Romanian market, at 6,249 cars sold in 2009.

The Dacia range comprises seven models – the Duster, the Logan, the Logan MCV, the Sandero, the Sandero Stepway, the Logan VAN and the Logan Pick-Up.

Dacia posted a 20% sales increase on the year in 2009, at 311,282 units sold.
