Romania: Absolute record of new cases of COVID-19: over 7.700 infected people, 1.000 in intensive care

The authorities have announced on Tuesday a new record of cases of COVID-19: over 7.700 Romanians were confirmed with SARS-CoV-2 in the last 24 hours and 120 lost the fight with the new virus. There are almost 1.000 patients in intensive care units.

As of Tuesday, 258.437 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed in Romania, and 181.175 patients have been declared cured.

In the last 24 hours, 7.733 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) have been registered.

As of Tuesday, 7.273 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died, and in the last 24 hours, 120 deaths have been reported, of which 70 were men and 50 women. These are patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Argeş, Bacău, Bistriţa-Năsăud, Botoşani, Brăila, Braşov, Buzău, Călăraşi, Caraş-Severin, Constanţa, Dolj, Giurgiu, Gorj, Harghita, Iaşi, Maramureş, Mehedinţi, Mureş, Neamţ, Olt, Prahova, Sălaj, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Suceava, Timiş, Vaslui, Vrancea, Ilfov and Bucharest.
