"The Government will be able to spend part of the supplementary revenues as it likes, but will have to save another part of the money,” Jeffrey Franks, the chief of the IMF mission in Bucharest, said Wednesday.

The country’s budget will be revised in April or May and the new deficit target will be of 5.1% of the GDP, according to the European Union standards, or 4.6% of the GDP, according to the Romanian methodology.
