Romania’s Petrom Hikes Pump Prices By RON0.06 Per Liter

Romania’s largest oil company Petrom SA (SNP.RO) raised Monday the gasoline and diesel oil prices by 0.06 lei (EUR1=RON4.2282) per liter, following the international oil price increase, the company said in a statement.

Thus, the price of one liter of unleaded gasoline Premium and Top Premium 99+ was increased to RON4.04, and RON4.41, respectively. One liter of OMV Carrera 95 and of OMV Carrera 100 gasoline costs RON4.18 and RON4.81, respectively.

One liter of Top Nordic Diesel costs RON3.97, while one liter of OMV Sprint Diesel costs RON4.01, the company said.

Euro Diesel 5 and OMV Alpin Diesel also costs more, namely RON3.8, and RON4.3 per liter, respectively.

In December 2004, Petrom was privatized and became a part of OMV AG (OMV.VI), which is the majority shareholder.
