One Dead, Another Injured In Plane Crash In SE Romania

An AN2 utilitarian airplane crashed on Saturday at 17:30 local time, near the Lucica village in Calarasi county and flight mechanic Adrian Staicu lost his life in the accident.

The plane’s pilot Valeriu Bacuiane was brought to Floreasca emergency hospital in capital city Bucharest where he underwent surgery at both his legs.

The pilot is still in a coma and doctors are reserved with respect for his chances of survival.

The airplane belongs to Victor Avia company whose representatives refused to comment the incident.
