One Dead, Three Badly Injured In Car Crash, E Romania

According to the local police, the accident took place Wednesday night on the county road 202 C, near Puiesti locality, in Buzau county. All the passengers in the car, a family, were severely injured, and the father, who was driving, died at the hospital the same night.

The 36 year-old driver lost control of the wheel outside Puiesti, the car entered the opposite lane and hit a tree on the side of the road.

Following the powerful impact, the whole family was severely injured, including the wife, 32, and their two sons. An extrication team intervened, and the man was transported to the hospital of Ramnicu Sarat, while the wife and their two boys were taken to the hospital in Buzau.  

The man died despite doctors’ efforts. Because of the severity of the injuries, the two children were brought in a critical condition to a hospital in the capital city Bucharest.
