One Worker Dead, Another Injured In Work Accident In C Romania

One Romanian worker died and another was injured in an accident on a construction site in Fagaras, central Romania, where they were building a block of flats.

According to the spokesperson of the local police department, Liviu Naghi, the accident took place at 11.50 on a work site in Fagaras. One worker died and another was badly injured, the latter being now hospitalized in Fagaras Hospital, the spokesperson said.

The spokesperson of the Ambulance Service Brasov, Emilian Matau, said the two workers fell from a scaffolding that collapsed.

The ambulance and Territorial Work Inspectorate officials came to the place where the accident occurred.
