“The Peugeot range will have a new model this year, namely the 308 SW (break), which will be launched this fall. In the first part of next year, we will launch the Peugeot 308 CC convertible, which will replace the 307 CC model,” company officials said.
Peugeot currently trades 17 models on the Romanian market, of which four are commercial vehicles.
The French carmaker’s sales in Romania reached 7,652 units in the first quarter, down 2% compared to the similar period a year ago.
The top-traded model was Peugeot 206, with 2,113 units sold, followed by Peugeot 207 (1,520 units) and Peugeot Boxer (1,248 units).
Trust Motors eyes selling 18,500 cars in 2008, up some 9% from 16,959 units sold in 2007.
