The company Two Towers, indirectly owned by the Dutch investment fund MEI South East Europe and by the son of former coach of the Romanian national football team Anghel Iordanescu, will build an office building in the northern part of capital Bucharest, for EUR18 million.

The building, called Executive Business Center, will have eight floors with a total office area of 9,855 square meters – class A, according to data of the real estate consultant Regatta.

The ground floor has a retail area of 849 square meters, and the building will ensure 189 parking spots.

The project is located in Pipera area, and will be completed in January next year.

The building has already been put up for rent, and particularly addresses medium and large companies.

According to data from the Trade Registry, the developer Two Towers is controlled entirely by the company Central Europe Group Shares, whose shareholders are Central Europe Group – CEG, which owns 95%, and by TET Investment with 5%.

The shareholders of Central Europe Group – CEG are the Dutch investments fund MEI South East Europe, with 70% of the shares, and TET Investment, which has 30% of the capital.

Edward Iordanescu, the son of Anghel Iordanescu, owns 34 % of the capital of TET Investment, while the rest of the shares belong equally to the Greek businessman Laftasis Thomas and the company T. La Ling Holding registered in the Netherlands.

The Dutch group Middle Europe Investment, which has made investments on the Romanian capital market via several closed funds, manages MEI South East Europe.
