Orange Romania 1H Revenues Down 8.8% YY, To EUR484M

Orange reported a 7.4% decrease in revenues in the second quarter of 2010, compared to a 10.1% decrease in the first quarter of 2010.

Orange Romania registered personal service revenues of EUR437 million in the first half of 2010, down 9.5% from the same period in 2009.

The company had 10.471 million customers at the end of June 2010, compared to 10.354 million at the end of June 2009, and to 10.995 million at the end of 2009.

Of the total number of clients, 2.357 million were broadband users (internet and mobile data) at the end of June 2010, compared to 2.223 million at the end of June 2009 and to 2.708 million at the end of 2009.

Orange Romania's revenues fell 7.4% in the second quarter of 2010, to EUR247 million, compared to EUR267 million in the same period in 2009. Its average revenue per user was of EUR85 on June 30, compared to EUR108 at the end of June 2009.
