The Canadian boxing club is expecting an impressive number of people attending the fight in Centre Bell arena, given the number of tickets sold in just three days.
“We are very proud to be able to offer this major international bout to our boxing fans. This is proof that people love Lucian Bute,” said Jean Bedard, President of Sportscene Group Inc.
The club’s current top priority is to make Bute famous outside the Quebec region.
Attempts to this purpose will be made in the following weeks in order to attract foreign television networks.
Bute became international super middleweight champion by knocking out the owner of the belt, Columbian Alejandro Berrio, in Montreal’s Centre Bell arena.
Bute defended successfully his belt in March, after defeating American William Joppy by knock-out in the tenth round.
