Old apartment prices in Constanta rose 2.2% (from EUR992 to EUR1,014 per sqm), while new apartment prices rose 1.4% (from EUR993 to EUR1,007 per sqm).
In capital Bucharest, apartment sale prices increased by 2.2% in April (from EUR1,175 to EUR1,201 per useful sqm) and by 7.1% over the last year (from EUR1,121 per useful sqm). Old apartment prices rose 1.6% in April, to EUR1,130 per useful sqm, and new apartment prices rose 2.5%, to EUR1,256 per useful sqm.
In Brasov, home prices rose 1.1% over the last month (from EUR925 to EUR935 per useful sqm) and currently are 1.3% higher than in the same period a year before when they reached EUR923 per useful sqm). Sale prices of old apartments inched up 0.9% in April, to EUR938 per sqm, and sale prices of new apartments rose 1.2% to EUR923.
Home prices in Cluj-Napoca saw a general increase of 2.7% (from EUR1,260 to EUR1,294 PER sqm), up 8% from the year-earlier period when home prices reached EUR1,198 per sqm). In April, prices rose, on average, by 2.2% (from EUR1,315 to EUR1,344 per sqm) on the olf apartment segment, and by 2.6% (from EUR1,196 to EUR1,227 per sqm) on the new apartment segment.
In Iasi, asking prices fell to EUR909 from EUR914, in April. Old apartment prices climbed 2.6% (from EUR885 to EUR908 per sqm), and new apartment prices fell 2.4% (from EUR931 to EUR909 per sqm).
According to the Imobiliare.ro index, home prices in Timisoara rose 1.6% in April, from EUR1,065 to EUR1,082 per sqm. Old apartment prices rose 1.3% in April (from EUR1,067 to EUR1,081 per sqm), and new apartment prices advanced 2.2% (from EUR1,059 to EUR1,082 per sqm).
