Romanian Govt To Present Decentralization Calendar Wednesday

Romanian Democratic Liberal Party vice-president Gheorghe Flutur said Monday after a meeting of the governing coalition that the government will present a strategy and calendar to decentralize public administration in Wednesday’s Cabinet meeting.

Flutur said social democrats and democrat liberals agreed to speed up decentralization and talks on the matter will be held with ministries involved, professional associations, county councils and mayors.
 
He added the government will present Wednesday a calendar of measures, to decentralize local police, healthcare, culture, agriculture and education institutions in the upcoming period.
