RAR checked 66,127 cars countrywide in the above mentioned period and found technical flaws in nearly 3,500 cars, which would imminently cause accidents, while 9,000 cars were found exceeding the acceptable pollution levels.

Half of a total 41,000 cars found with technical flaws fail to comply with road security standards, as they have incompliant lighting and signaling devices, bad chassis or missing equipping devices.

RAR inspectors also noticed technical overhaul irregularities, expired or fake car papers, unauthorized modifications, as well as various inventions for windshield and side windows.

RAR checks cars engaged in traffic that appear to have technical flaws, which jeopardize road traffic. Thus, the outcome of RAR checkups does not reflect the general status of all cars engaged in traffic.
