Romanian Govt To Upgrade 10,000 Km Of County Roads

At the meeting, development minister Vasile Blaga said Romania has some 35,000 kilometers of county roads, and about one third of these are dirt roads or cobblestone roads. Therefore, the coalition discussed the upgrade, through credit orders and state budget money, of 10,000 kilometers of roads and tasked the Ministry of Finance with analyzing the matter.

Flutur added the coalition meeting discussed an agenda of anti-crisis measures, including the removal, come October 1, of the tax on reinvested profit, programs to fuel the rural loan guarantee fund, funds for the local public administration and car park renewal programs.
