The partial results of the EP elections in Romania indicate, after the votes of 75.22% polling stations were centralized, that the Democratic Party obtained 29.23% of votes, the leftist Social-Democratic Party- 21.65%, the National Liberal Party-13.15%, while the Liberal-Democratic Party- 8.30%.

As far as other parties are concerned, the Hungarian minority party obtained 5.84 % of votes, the Christian Democratic New Generation Party – 4.92%, the far-right Greater Romania Party – 4.12%, independent Hungarian bishop Laszlo Tokes – 3.76%, the Conservative Party – 2.86%, the National Initiative Party– 2.64%, while the National Christian-Democratic Peasants’ Party obtained 2.4%.
