Considering the introduction of new road toll sticker models and the fact that different models may not be issued simultaneously by the same distributor due to the different technical requirements for each model, several distribution points may lack stickers and the ministry decided to suspend until Jul 31 fines for drivers with no valid road toll stickers.

Label maker Eltronis started last week the delivery of 200,000 road toll stickers valid for one day, one week and one month, to the Romanian national roads and highways company CNADNR.

On July 3, Eltronis and CNADNR concluded a frame contract for the supply of road toll stickers for a two-year period, and the subsequent contract for 2008, for an estimated EUR2.5 million, VAT not included.
