Romania’s Jan Net Salary Dn 5.2% M-M To RON1,200

The net salary in January fell compared with December when employees were given bonuses, including holiday bonuses, and when a higher output was reported.

Airline employees saw the biggest average net salaries of RON2.864, while employees in the wood processing industry, except for furniture making, were at the opposite pole with RON635.

January net average salary in agriculture was down 1.5% on the month to RON868.

Net salaries in the industrial field averaged RON1.030 in January, down 10.3% from December salary.

The average net salary in Romania rose 30.7% on year in January.
