Romanian Democrat Liberals Obtain 166 MP Seats

Overall, the Democratic-Liberal Party gained 166 MP seats, followed at a close distance by the social democrats, with 163 MP seats.

The liberals secured 93 MP seats, while UDMR obtained 31 MP seats.
 
In the Chamber of Deputies, the democrat liberals obtained 115 seats, while leftist social democrats won 114 seats. The liberals won 65 deputy seats, while the Democratic Unions of Hungarians in Romania, or UDMR, got 22 seats.
 
In Senate, the democrat liberals obtained 51 seats, followed by the alliance formed of social democrats and the Conservative Party, with 49 seats. The liberals and Hungarian minorities won 28 and 9 seats, respectively.
 
The democrat liberals received an additional 22 deputy seats in the second stage of mandate distribution, liberals also got an additional 22, social democrats got an extra 19 deputy seats and the Hungarian minority party got an additional eight.
 
In Senate, democrat liberals gained an additional 25 seats in the second stage of distribution, liberals got 21, social democrats got an extra 20 the Hungarian minority party got an additional five.
